ULTIMA MoodBook is an inspirational catalogue, especially for the picky homeowner who wants inspiration in terms of material composition in regard to construction and reconstruction.
The design and text stems from the inspiration book as a concept – it puts the beautiful product, Ultima brick, forward and generates ideas to how and in what (material) context the brick gives the building the ultimate character.
To really inspire the reader, we’ve worked from the idea that a homeowner, that match with Ultima bricks, generally is the type that is inspired from moodboards. That is why we, in cooperation with an interior designer, developed moodboards with photographed physical materials used in the catalogue. The graphic design is inspired by the composition of a magazine where articles and visual inspirational pages are mixed. The signature colors from Randers Tegl are kept and an excessive use of fonts highlights messages and creates a common thread. The catalogue is printed on Munken uncoated paper, has an open, stinged back, raw edging and the cover is tinged.
