Cronus

by Texas A & M University Commerce

Receiving the Greek titan god of time, Cronus; I centered my concept around time and the fact that he also ruled the cosmos during the Golden Age (approximately 70 bc to ad 18). I started by creating the starry typography in Photoshop and breaking the word into individual letters and pieces. Once transferred to After Effects, the write-on effect was in action. As well as dabbling in the Red Giant Trapcode Suite utilizing the particular plugin, and manipulating the particle effect. This was done to make it seem like the stars or cosmos were writing the word on as it whips through the composition. Finishing it off with ancient clockwork rotating slowly in the background.
