F Newsmagazine is an independent student-run newspaper/magazine for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
The illustration was the cover illustration of the October 2021 issue. It was dedicated to the Art Institute of Chicago Workers Union (AICWU), which was fighting hard for the Art Institute and the school's staff's rights and benefits.
The illustration consists of the Art Institute of Chicago's emblematic symbol, the bronze lion, roaring out the message "STRONGER TOGETHER," in support of AICWU's fight to unionize.
This issue was crucial in helping promote AICWU's messages in support of the staff's causes. With an immense amount of help and support, AICWU finally won its fight.
