In the town of Seng Kang in Singapore, the public faces the issue of abandoned grocery trolleys in void decks. After using trolleys to transport their groceries to their apartment blocks, many abandon these trolleys at void decks, sidewalks and grass patches, instead of returning them to the supermarket. This created an extreme inconvenience to supermarket workers who have to search and retrieve these trolleys around town.
A Beginner's Guide to Grocery Shopping in Seng Kang is a satirical magazine that hopes to invoke social change and to encourage people to be more courteous, empathetic and kind to others. This project also aims to guide younger audiences using interactive games to explore Singapore's unique cultural identity.
